This collection consists of tall human figures. They have no sex and symbolize man as an emotional being, they are absorbed in their private thoughts, solemn, troubled. Their lightly bloated bellies symbolize all that they are ready to "give birth to", their contribution to this world, may it be of material or spiritual nature.
Their embelishments and colours on their cloths help to discharge the emotions, they are figures that want to awaken but in the course of life there are joys too, there are no absolutes.
The figures are totally handmade, none is the same with another. They are made with fine quality stoneware clay, with carved or embossed decoration, coloured with slips and oxides. Usually they have added wire elements from special fireproof metal. They are fired at 1200οC.
